It’s official we are World Record Holders. We as part of the team of 84 vans today entered into the Guinness Book of Records. Ice cream vans from all over the British Isles one even from Belgium set off from Crewe on a route and distance as laid down by Guinness Records. With 84 Vans chiming as they went the site and sound was quite special.
We await our personal certificate as official record holders which will be displayed in the van.
The Guinness world record attempt we are entering draws nearer and as part of this we are very happy as with all the other participants nominated The great Ormand Street Hospital as the charity we would like to help. We have set up a just giving page and ask customers,friends,and associates to donate small or large to this worthy cause. As ice cream sellers we work closely with children day in and day out so feel an infinity with many good causes that are child related. To donate please see link at the bottom of the article. No costs or expenses for the record will be incurred by the just giving page and 100% of any money raised will go to the cause.
The Guinness World Record attempt will be the largest number of ice cream vans ever assembled in the the world to convoy at a set distance and route as set out by the official Guinness world record organisation.Ice Cream Vans will travel from all over the UK to Crewe in England on the 16th October 2018 ready to set this record.

We are very pleased to announce Ellinors Ice Cream will be part of a World Record attempt on 16th October 2018 in Crewe.
The record will be strictly controlled by Guinness world Records and will require a the largest ever convoy of ice cream vans ever.
The number of ice cream vans for this record will require a minimum of fifty vans however the number at the moment exceeds this and is still growing so final numbers will be set when application to World records closes prior to the 16th October attempt.
We will keep you updated and hopefully announce we are a Guinness World Record Holder.
